As she grew, she continued to dance and sing and pretend to be a princess. As a young lady, she seriously studied voice, dance, and drama, and had the privilege to play the lead in several productions. But none of them were princesses.
Then one day, during her final year of high school, she learned that this year's production would be Beauty and the Beast. She held her breath and prayed they would cast her as Belle.
And like every good fairy tale, just days after her 18th birthday, she slipped on the yellow gown and glistening tiara, and became Belle.

And the dream lives on. Congratulations, Meg!

How wonderful! I cried when I read this. :)
Thanks, Amy. I'm still crying. :) I told people Meg has been preparing for this role for 15 years. If someone would have told me then that someday she'd be Belle on stage in a beautiful production, I would have had a hard time believing it. My heart is so full of happiness for her, I think it will burst!
Aw! Congratulations to her too! How sweet to see a childhood dream come true.

Incredible story!!!! She looks so lovely in her costume...like she was just MEANT to be a princess! I'm sure she has always been YOUR princess, but isn't it wonderful that others got to see it too??!!
